The historic town of Seaford lies on the Sussex coast at the foot of the South Downs. With the I Love Seaford Town App you’ll easily find your way around this charming seaside town, discovering hidden gems and places of interest along the way.
Feeling energetic? Seaford beach is popular with windsurfers, and there’s a 5-mile purpose built cycle track along the seafront. Or you could take a bracing coastal walk to nearby Seaford Head and the iconic Seven Sisters.
Challenge
The challenge given to Townapps by Seaford Chamber of Commerce’s was to bring the current app upto date with all the businesses within the Chamber. This meant taking the old app down from both the Apple and Google stores. We had to introduce new graphics onto the app. Bringing new feature “ The week in Seaford’s History & Newhaven Bridge Opening times. The Seaford Chamber also wants a direct link to the local station Seaford FM. Parking again had to be introduced onto the app showing all available parking within Seaford.

Solution
It took some time to get all the business listings and get all proper details. The graphics were done by a member of the Seaford Chamber. Townapps had to get the correct links to the Seaford History, Bridge opening and the radio station and had to get the correct coding to make them look good onto the app. The app is one that has a lot of new features especially with the radio station link . The week in Seaford’s History is being update regular which is proving to be very successful. The Seaford committee are very happy with the App and with a 70% increase on the app since the launch of the new app in September 15 to May 16. This has proven to be a great success.
